Trottin-Trottinette is a French preschool and daycare operating out of the André-Piolat school in North Vancouver. We have been a part of the North Shore francophone community for the past 27 years and we are known for the quality of our programs and staff. We are looking for a new director to lead the charge and work with our talented educators and close-knit families. Key Qualifications:

• Written and oral French fluency (preferably native tongue)
• Written and oral English fluency
• ECE certification
• 3-5 years in a managerial capacity with emphasis on HR and supervision
• 3-5 years experience in an educational setting

Core Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, organize, supervise and evaluate all the staff in the preschool/daycare.
• Plan, organize, direct, supervise and approve all lessons and activities provided by the preschool/daycare.
• Ensure all learning outcomes conform to the provincial guidelines for early childhood education.
• Discuss and address parental, community and staff concerns as they occur.
• Meet and work with the Board of Directors in a collaborative manner to discuss issues and implement new policies as relevant.
• Prepare and administrate the school budget as approved by the board of directors.
• Teach in classrooms if the need arises.
