We would ask that you please take your child to the washroom before school starts. We would also like to remind you that it is very important that you bring and pick up your child on time.

7:30 – 8:40: Arrival of children attending daycare, table games, computer time, and drama.

8:40 – 8:50: Arrival of children attending preschool. Circle time: Song “Bonjour Mes Amis”,  attendance, calendar, daily theme, explanation of activities.

8:50 – 9:45: Group activities

1st group: art or arts and crafts

2nd group: learning activities: math, hand  writing, language, educational games, scientific experiments.

Individual free play at various stations in class once group activity is completed.

9:45 – 10:30: Clean up time, Story time, “Paul & Suzanne” (for 3 yo class) Trip to washroom, hand washing and snack.

10:30 – 11:15: Group activities   Activities in learning centres. Children are invited to find something to do alone or with friends, (puzzles,board games or reading a book in library corner). A chance for teachers to spend extra time with individuals who require it.

11:15 – 11:45:  Playtime outside in school playground, weather permitting. Prepare to return home for those not in daycare program. Washing of hands and lunch preparation.

11:45 – 12:30: Children eat lunch and wash hands. Story time or music listening on carpet.

12:30 – 2:00: Quiet time or nap.

2:00 – 2:30: Free play at various stations.

2:30 – 3:30: Circle time (songs, dance,games…) Arts and science activities.

3:30 – 4:00: Snack time

4:00 – 5:00: Playtime outside in school playground or in gymnasium.

5:00 – 6:00: Classroom clean up and prepare to return home.

Note:

The 4 yo afternoon pre-school class will follow a similar schedule starting at 12:30pm with the exception that their will be no snack time as the duration is 15 minutes less than the morning class.

The schedule of activities may vary depending on weather (outdoor excursions, playground), on day of gym lessons or due to special events.
